Friedrich Heppenheimer was my great-great-grandfather (my grandfather Opa's father's father).

Friedrich Heppenheimer was born in Crumstadt, Germany, on February 26, 1826, and died in Hoboken, NJ on April 20, 1878. He moved to the United States as a young man and developed a successful printing company.

Memorial book and more information

We have a memorial book (pictured at left) of Friedrich Heppenheimer that was created by his friends and colleagues following his death.  It is in German, but we have translations of some parts of the book.
